Watch the smoke become a waterfall
A ribbon of incense smoke drifting past Buddha’s serene face makes a lovely reason to pause. As it gathers below, the waterfall effect brings a quiet, mesmerising detail to your room.
Three ways to enjoy it
Use it with an incense stick, a regular incense cone, or a special backflow cone for the waterfall effect.
Material & character
Made from ceramic, with a deep plum-toned surround and textured, rock-like edges. The contrast with the smooth face gives this piece the interest of a sculpture, even when it isn’t lit.
Creating the backflow
Place a backflow cone over the small hole at the top, aligning the opening beneath the cone with the burner’s hole, then light it. Keep it away from draughts and direct fan or air-conditioner airflow so the smoke can travel downwards.
What’s included
The price is for one burner. Incense cones and sticks are not included; look for ‘backflow burner incense cones’ when buying cones for the waterfall effect.
Size & Weight
You’ll find dimensions and weight in the Size & Weight section below.
Care
Let the burner cool, then wipe with a wet cloth. If the small hole becomes blocked, gently clear it with a toothpick or cotton swab.
